The government has required overseas Filipino workers (OFW) who are returning to the country from China, Hong Kong, and Macau to undergo a 14-day quarantine against the threat of 2019 novel coronavirus.
However, one OFW said this would mean that their vacation time, which will be spent with their family, will be lessened.
GMA News reported that Cindy Ronquillo arrived in the Philippines just after the announcement of the travel restriction.

The health department has announced that the quarantine is necessary to stop the spread of the virus.
She learned about it upon her arrival through an employee from the Bureau of Quarantine.
“Oh mag-book na kayo ng 20 days o 30 days,” Ronquillo said in jest.
“‘Yung mga five to seven days [vacation], extend extend niyo na. Home quarantine lang naman, hindi naman dito maka-quarantine talaga.”
As of posting time, the Philippines has two confirmed cases of novel coronavirus, one of these two patients has died.
There are 80 cases of Persons Under Investigation.
