Filipinos in UAE thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for showing sympathy for the victims of the recent eruption of Taal Volcano.
Gratitude from UAE-based overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) poured in after His Highness penned a message to Taal victims on his official Twitter account.
In the story posted by The Filipino Times on Facebook, Filipino netizens praised the kind heart of His Highness for his heartfelt message written in Filipino.
On Sunday, January 19, His Highness tweeted that the government of the UAE prays for the Filipino people amid this calamity.
His Highness said that the UAE “stands in solidarity with the Philippines in these difficult times and is ready to provide all support and assistance.”
