His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces, showed his sympathy for the victims of the recent eruption of Taal Volcano.
On January 19, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan tweeted that the government of the UAE prays for the Filipino people amid this calamity, saying that the country “stands in solidarity with the Philippines in these difficult times and is ready to provide all support and assistance.”

His Highness also posted the said tweet in Tagalog:

As of January 19, the number of displaced residents due to Taal’s unrest is pegged at more than 160,000 people.
Alert level 4 remains as the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology warns of an imminent strong eruption with days of weeks.
