A man who was evading law enforcement authorities for a number of charges was apprehended after his big ear and a distinctive tattoo on his neck gave him away.
Not even a pair of glasses, which he wore that day of his arrest, could save him from the police prying eye, says a report by the Daily Mail.
The South Normanton and Pinxton Safer Neighbourhood Team on Market Street arrested the 30-year-old David Springthorpe, in South Normanton, Derbyshire last Saturday.
Springthorpe was charged with subsequent theft of perfume and gift sets from Boots. He was jailed for 30 weeks at Chesterfield Justice Centre.
He was also previously charged in court last January for stealing steak worth £20 from a The Co-op store.
