Olongapo City Vice Mayor Jong Cortez said the still unidentified woman was shot dead in Rizal Avenue.
The Australian man was rushed to the hospital but was later on declared dead.
Initial reports say that the suspect is also an Austalian man. He remains at large as of this writing.
The suspect and the victims were on the same vehicle. After the car stopped in front of a hardware, gunshots were heard from the car.
“Dun po sa CCTV na ni-report sa amin, yung kotse po ay nag-park tapos umabante ng konti tapos meron pong apat na muffled na tunog na narinig yung hardware, nakasarado pa po yung bintana nung sasakyan eh. So sa loob po nangyari yung barilan,” Cortez told Inquirer.net.
A two year-old child was also in the car but was able to survive the shooting incident.
