Commuters from the industrial area of Mussafah in Abu Dhabi can now expect a more convenient and faster travel with the launching of a new bus service (E102) to Ibn Battuta in Dubai.
Transport officials said that this will be of big help to those living in the Mussafah area as they no longer have to travel all the way to the Abu Dhabi bus station just to go to Dubai.
The new bus service will leave from Mussafah, stop at Abu Dhabi International Airport, and then to Ibn Battuta.
The inclusion of the airport in the Mussafah Shabiya bus station-Ibn Battuta bus station route is part of “larger transport connectivity plans” for next year.
“Even the frequency of services on routes will change as per demand. Instead of an hourly service, it may be brought down to 30 minutes,” the ITC was quoted as saying in a report by Khaleej Times.
