The grand daughter of Robert F. Kennedy has died inside the Kennedy Compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, it was reported.
Saoirse Kennedy Hill, 22, was the granddaughter of human rights activists and late presidential candidate Ethel Kennedy.
“Our hearts are shattered by the loss of our beloved Saoirse,” reads the Kennedy family, as per the Times
The family’s statement did not mention the cause of death.
The 22-year-old communication student of Boston college was set to graduate next year.
First responders were called to a medical emergency at the compound around 2:30 p.m. The young Kennedy was brought to Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis where she was pronounced dead.
