Croley Foods: Filipinos’ choice for mildly sweet cracker snacks

Croley Foods, the makers of Sunflower Crackers and Butter Cream Crackers, had its humble beginnings as a family bakeshop in Manila, Philippines during the early 1950’s. With its signature taste for its biscuits and crackers, it slowly evolved into a biscuit company during the 1960’s when it relocated to a new area and invested in a new biscuit machine.

The company became popular in the biscuit industry during the late 70′s when it launched the Sunflower Crackers. A company restructuring during the early 80′s resulted in the change of its name to Croley Foods Mfg. Corp.

Today, Croley Foods has expanded its cracker, biscuit and cookie line under several trade names.

Sunflower Crackers is known for its thin, crispy, and flavorful cracker. The quality and taste of the biscuit can be attributed to its fine ingredients and pride of its worker in delivering good quality product. It has different flavors such as its Original, Chicken flavor, Pizza flavor, Cheese as well as sandwich creams like Strawberry Sandwich, Mango Sandwich, Blueberry Sandwich, Lemon Sandwich, Coconut Sandwich and Orange Sandwich.

Sunflower Crackers have also been taken around different areas of the world as Filipinos migrate to different places. Recently, it has entered the mainstream market of China as it was also accepted by the Chinese consumers. In addition, the popular snack has likewise entered the UAE market to attract many other nationalities that reside within the country.

Fast forward to today, Shankar Trading Company managed to form a strategic partnership with Croley Foods to bring the iconic snack to the UAE market.
