Manila Mayor Isko Moreno showed no plans of stopping his efforts to transform the city and this time he wants a Chinese national deported for peeing in public.
In a press conference, Moreno said that the Chinese man was seen peeing on a wall and a barangay tanod tried to stop him.
The Chinese national, however, became mad and physically assaulted the barangay official.
“It is immaterial what country you come from. If you go to Manila, follow simple rules. And I think that is a generally accepted rule that you don’t pee in the streets,” Moreno explained.
Moreno also expressed his disappointment on the Chinese national for hitting a barangay official.
“If you hit our enforcer, attempt to hurt our policemen because you are a superpower, you are not welcome in Manila,” he said.
The man is currently detained and Moreno will be working with immigration officials for his possible deportation.
