Senator Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa said that the death of a three year old girl in a drug buy bust operation can happen anytime because *glaring word* happens.
Dela Rosa made the comment during his press conference at the Kapihan sa Senado.
As former Philippine National Police Chief Dela Rosa said that it’s a risk in every police operations.
Initial reports say that the kid was used as a human shield by his father who was involved in the illegal drug trade and gun for hire group.
The cops said that the father Renato Dolorfina was killed because he fought back.
Dela Rosa admitted that he’s not yet familiar with the details of the case but he insists that no police operation is perfect.
“If everything is perfect, no one would do wrong, but there are a lot of imperfections that is why that happened,” he said.
“But *glaring word* happens. During operations, *glaring word* happens,” he added.
Dela Rosa is set to chair the Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs. He is open on investigating the incident once Congress starts its session.
