Jinggoy Estrada congratulates Nancy Binay, JV Ejercito slams the ‘bitter’ one

Manila, Philippines— The rift between half brothers Jinggoy Estrada and JV Ejercito continues even after both of them failed to enter the Senate’s Magic 12.

JV is currently at 13th spot lagging behind fellow re-electionist Nancy Binay with over 200,000 votes. Jinggoy on the other hand is at 15th place.

JV acknowledged that he might still have a shot at the last spot, adding however that it would be difficult for him to contest the result because Binay is his friend.

Jinggoy, on Facebook, congratulated Binay for securing the 12th spot.

“Kay Sen. Nancy, alam ko marami ka pang magagawa sa Senado na makakatulong sa ating mga kababayang mahihirap. Keep it up! You deserve to keep the 12th spot because you have a very big heart for the poor and you are the better person among others. Congratulations my friend,” Jinggoy said.

The former Senator also congratulated sure winner Bong Revilla Jr. He called Revilla his ‘BFF’ or Best Friend Forever and his ka-kosa (inmate).

“Sa aking BFF at kakosa na si Sen. Bong Revilla, bagamat matagal tayong nagkasama at ngayon lang tayo maghihiwalay, ???, ipagdadasal ko ang iyong tagumpay sa Senado at ipagpatuloy mo ang laban para sa katotohanan. I love you my friend!” Jinggoy said.

JV on the other reacted on Jinggoy’s post with a short tweet “bitter.”

JV used the campaign slogan. “The Good One,” a hit at his brother who was involved in the multi-billion peso pork barrel scam.

Jinggoy, on the other hand, said that if JV is the good one, he considers himself as the “better one.”

The half brothers showed civil relationship when both of them raised each other’s hands during the launch of Hugpong ng Pagbabago in February.

“Hindi kami nag uusap pero I voted for him,” Jinggoy said in an interview last Monday. (Photo: politics.com.ph)
