A 28-year old Asian woman (nationality withheld in media reports) died falling from a high-rise residential building in Sharjah.
Sharjah police said they got a call early hours of Thursday morning that a woman fell from a residential building in Al Nahda area of Sharjah.
When the police and paramedics arrived at the scene, they saw the Asian woman already suffering from serious head injuries.
She was pronounced dead on arrival at Al Qasimi Hospital
The woman’s body will be autopsied, upon the order of the Sharjah prosecutors.
In 2016, a 23-year old Filipino man also plunged to his death from the balcony at the 14th floor of his apartment also at the Al Nahda area in Sharjah.
