Retail giant Walmart to open stores in PH

American multinational retail corporation Walmart, Inc. is planning on establishing its well-known stores in the Philippines.

Walmart made the decision final on April 1 saying that they are planning on opening at least three stores in the Philippines so that Filipinos can enjoy bargain buys and convenient shopping.

The retail giant has already closed deals and signed contracts regarding the establishment of the said stores.

The first branch will be opening in Muntinlupa City, while the second one is expected to rise somewhere in Alabang. Walmart is also planning on establishing a third branch in New Manila.

The exact locations of the stores are yet to be announced.

Walmart is a well-known company in the United States which operates a chain of hypermarkets, discount department stores, and grocery stores in the said country.

It has since expanded in several countries including Mexico, Canada, the United Kingdom, China, and Japan.

Now, its stores which features a wide array of products starting from food and clothing to electronics and homeware will finally make its way to the Philippines.

  1. Oh Shttt! I’m from Mindanao, but I’m happy they are now here in the Philippines, I’m very excited! I thought we already have Walmart but they are still working pa pala. Still, a good news tho!
