The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) revealed that 115 bettors almost won the Php1.11 billion Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot after correctly guessing five out of six digits in the winning combination.
The winning six-digit combination on Friday’s draw, October 12, was 28-14-54-50-17-27.
By guessing five out of the six numbers, each of the 155 bettors will receive P187,780 as a form of consolation prize.
No one has won the Ultra Lotto 6/58 game since February 2018 where two bettors shared the jackpot prize of Php331.9 million.
Ultra Lotto 6/58’s historic jackpot prize
With no one winning the jackpot prize, it will further increase to a new record-high of Php1.16 billion for the tonight’s draw, October 14.
The previous record for the highest prize in PCSO lotto history was Grand Lotto 6/55’s 741.2 million jackpot in 2010.
This was won by a 60-year old Filipino-American who was having a vacation in the country. He bet on the winning combination 11-16-42-47-31-37 and claimed his prizes in December 2010.
