Resigned Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Margaux “Mocha” Uson left some provoking words to politicians who she personally tagged as “epal”.
After resigning from her post earlier today, October 3, Uson said that she is now ready to take her fight against her critics to the next level since she no longer has any government-related obligations.
Pipigilan ka na na magsalita kasi iipitin nga ang budget,” PDI quoted her Uson as saying during an interview with the press at the Senate.
“Pero ngayon, asahan nyo na mas magiging matapang pa,” she added.
Uson made the announcement of her resignation during the PCOO budget hearing at the Senate in the wake of controversies that caused lawmakers, citizens’ groups and netizens to call her to step down.
She said that giving up her position will enable her to voice out her concerns without having to think about whose toes she will step on to.
When asked who are the politicians she is referring to, she simply said, “Marami po dyan kasi yung mga epal na senador at mga kongresista… Kasi sumosobra na sila e.”
She continued, “Abangan nyo lang na po. May blog naman po ako so raratsada tayo dun. Bakbakan na to.
Following her resignation, Uson has also expressed that she is “open” to running for a position in the 2019 elections. Umpisa pa lamang po ito,” she said.
