Beauty empire Belo Medical Group is set to open its first ever clinic in the Middle East which will be located in Dubai in 2019.
Founder and CEO Dr. Vicki Belo said that 20 percent of her clients are overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), of whom most work in the Middle East, underscoring the need to open a clinic in the region, reported ABS-CBN News.
The clinic, however, will only offer non-surgical services.
Belo said that there have been plans to open the clinic in 2016, however, it was not pushed through due to issues in logistics.
“I’ve been postponing it for a while but I know we should [open already] because that’s where we can make more money,” Belo said.
According to its website, the Belo Medical Group operates in operates 11 clinics in Metro Manila, one in Cebu, and one in Davao. It added that Belo pioneered the skincare, laser, and liposuction industry in the Philippines when she opened her very first clinic at the Medical Towers in Makati in 1990.
