A Filipino has successfully flown out his homemade flying car. Kyxz Mendoza of Quezon City worked eight years engineering his drone-powered flying car “Koncepto Millenya.”
Mendoza took the flying car for a test flight in Stage 21 in Marikina where he first planned the frame for the aircraft.
The Filipino inventor showed off his car flying 25 feet off the ground and took its results to social media.
The aircraft can carry up to 80 kilograms and fly for 50 to 55 kilometers per hour.
“It’s a personal project of mine and many said I was crazy to take on this challenge especially (since) I am self-taught but I believe a single individual is capable of many things if you really put your mind heart and soul to accomplish your goals,” said Mendoza.
Meanwhile, netizens are amazed at Mendoza’s breakthrough.
“Sana po yan na yung sasakyan sa future,” read one comment.
“Real awesome work of brilliant minds in the backyards,” said another.
