Pinoy team invents app for roadside assistance

A Filipino team has developed a mobile app for drivers who require automotive services such as car wash and mechanical repair.

BeepBeep.ph is a new service that will deploy valet drivers to wherever the app users need them. The app has listed 7,000 car establishments and helps its 50,000 users.

According to one of its founders, Anton Ojeda, the app works by linking motorists to fuel stations, repair and paint shops, parts and accessories outlets, car wash facilities, wheel and tire stores, towing services and even the Land Transportation Office.

He added that BeepBeep.ph was originally planned to be an online directory but evolved into making the life of car owners easier and hassle-free. Their company also have in-house valet drivers who can do roadside assistance.

The Filipino team behind the app aims to outsource car maintenance and save time for motorists. They are currently servicing to Metro Manila motorists but are planning to expand nationwide and in the Southeast Asia, reported the Manila Standard.
