A boy from Dasmariñas, Cavite proved that you do not need expensive instruments to show your talent.
In a video uploaded by Kim Daigo Almaznor on Facebook, a boy is seen drumming to the Guns and Roses’ hit song, Sweet Child O’ Mine.
What is more fascinating is the drum set the boy was playing. He improvised with basins, the bottom of pails, water jugs, bottle caps and a metal plate in place of a cymbal. He also did not miss the drum’s bass, using a makeshift box to imitate the sound.
Meanwhile, the comments on the video are a chorus of praises for the boy’s potential.
“May talent ka bata, patuloy mo yan,” read one comment.
“Pinoy ingenuity! Di kailangan ng mamahaling drum set. Timba lang, solve na,” said another.
“Galing nung bata. Galing din ng tatay kung siya ang may gawa sa mga drum n’ya,” praised one netizen.
The video has been viewed over 10 million times and shared over 200 thousand times as of writing.
