Foreigner stabbed to death in PH

An Australian citizen was stabbed to death by a hired killer in Barangay Santa Cruz, Guiguinto Bulacan on August 10.

The 67-year-old man was identified as Wai Tsang Ming, a resident of Fairview Quezon City.

A Bulacan resident named Romy Soriano was identified as the suspect, who pointed to a businesswoman in Pampanga, Joan Cañete, as the mastermind. Also arrested was Cañete’s aunt, Rosalinda Estrada.

The police have recovered the murder weapon, a 12-inch knife, from Soriano, reported Philstar.

According to the investigation, Cañete sold her property in Pampanga to the victim and after he was able to pay more than three million pesos, Cañete orchestrated the murder.
