The Filipino Times and LBC roll out online booking for cargo sending and document processing

OFWs who frequently send their balikbayan boxes through LBC now have an option to course their requests online through a collaborative platform created by The Filipino Times powered by LBC.

TFT Online Padala ( lbc.filipinotimes.net ), will cater to requests such as online bookings for balikbayan box pick-up and delivery, sending huge appliances, LBC document processing, across all 7 emirates in the UAE. The platform will also provide exclusive deals and sale offers for OFWs who will course their requests through the portal.

LBC Vice President for Middle East, Mark Agalo-os explains that LBC is geared towards efforts on digital transformation with the goal of maximizing their reach and providing convenience for OFWs who are now more engaged online. “With LBC’s strategic digital platform partnership with The Filipino Times, we are optimistic that our OFWs will embrace this very convenient tool to send their balikbayan boxes to their loved ones in a few clicks,” said Agalo-os.

This was echoed by The Filipino Times, General Manager, Vince Ang, who said that the portal aims to help Filipinos, who don’t have time to physically visit an LBC branch, to have their balikbayan boxes and other requirements taken straight from their homes. “With the use of The Filipino Times’ strong digital platforms, the partnership with LBC to connect with the Filipinos is another proof about how digitally connected the Filipinos are and how brands partner with The Filipino Times to reach each and every Filipino in the UAE,” said Ang.
