A female expat in Al Qasimiya area in Sharjah met her demise when she fell from the ninth floor of a building on Monday, June 18.
The woman fell from the balcony of her family apartment on King Abdul Aziz Road around 7 in the morning, reported Gulf News.
The police rushed to the scene after receiving a report about the incident and brought her body to the forensic laboratory for investigation and autopsy.
The police are still investigating the events before the untimely death of the Iraqi woman.
Her family members were asked by the authorities to give a statement to determine the cause of death.
The authorities are looking into the angles of suicide and accident.
