The Dubai Civil Defence and Dubai Police rescued a man after his vehicle plunged into a 15-meter pit in Al Khawaneej area on the first day of Eid Al Fitr.
The authorities rushed to the scene, which was a construction excavation site, after receiving a number of messages from witnesses reporting the incident.
The man was successfully rescued through a ladder.
He sustained injuries and was airlifted to receive immediate treatment.
Investigation on the incident is still ongoing.
