An overseas Filipina worker (OFW) in Saudi Arabia has sought help online after she was locked in the ktchen by her employer.
In a Facebook video, OFW Maricel Bon Patoc is seen screaming for help and knocking on the kitchen door.
“Lagi niyo na lang ako nilo-lock dito. Grabe kayo sa akin. Di nyo ako tinuturing na tao dito. Buksan nyo naman tong pinto,” she pleaded.
According to Patoc, this was the third time she was locked inside the kitchen — once by her employer and twice by her employer’s 12-year-old child.
She also experienced being physically abused by her employer’s 6-year-old child who punches and kicks her. The child also spits at her at times.
Patoc said she has tried contacting her recruitment agency, to no avail.
“Hindi ko na makaya yong sa araw araw na pananakit nung bunso sakin. Kaya sana po matulungan niyo ako,” her post read.
