Long-haul carrier Emirates airlines has made an announcement to all passengers flying out of Dubai this coming weekend to arrive early at the airport.
The airlines warned the public that it will be the busiest week as passengers will flock to the Dubai International Airport for the spring break rush.
Emirates said that March 23 will be the busiest day at the airport, and it will continue until the weekends.
Passengers are recommended to arrive at least three hours before their flight. They can also check in as early as six hours before departure.
All passengers are expected to have checked in 2 hours before the flight, regardless of class of travel. Passengers who will check-in 60 minutes before the flight will no longer be allowed to board.
It would be better to allot time and arrive at the airport early as there are also ongoing road works and enhancements around the main airport roads and highways.
Aside from time, passengers are also reminded to check their baggage weight limits to avoid and problems at the airport.
