Another overseas Filipina worker (OFW) in Kuwait is seeking help to bring her back to the Philippines because of her abusive employers.
Emebel Lozada shared on Facebook that she was abused multiple times by her employer. Lozada fears for her security if she escapes.
The family of the OFW is also seeking the government’s urgent help, saying that Lozada had long been suffering from her abusive employers since she was hired there.
They fear that she might suffer the same fate that happened to one of their sisters before who lost her sight due to the abuse of her Kuwaiti employers.
“Umpisa pa lang daw, nagkaproblema na ya’ng si Emie. Hindi pinakain, tapos ganyan,” Bonifacia Mundo, a relative of Lozada, told GMA News.
“Ngayon, kinuha na yung cellphone niya, tapos hinampas siya,” the relative added.
