Seventy households were caroled and given gifts by the policemen of Parian Police Station (PPS) in Cebu City on Christmas day.
Dressed as “Santa Cops,” the policemen sang Christmas carols and handed Noche Buena package to each household.
Children were also given little gifts from the “Santa Cops.”
Officer-in-Charge Sr. Inspector Narrolf Tan of PPS said the gifts came from donations and Christmas bonus of the policemen.
“Ginawa natin ito upang magbigay ng pag-asa sa mga walang-wala sa buhay. Makikita rin nila na may mga pulis na handang tumulong sa kanila, kahit maliit lang ito ngayong Pasko gusto naming ma-feel nila ang tunay na spirit of Christmas.”
