The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) reported of 5,000 job vacancies in New Zealand.
The most in-demand jobs include carpenters, masons, farm workers and those related to construction. According to POEA, the foreign country is still on its rehabilitation process since being hit by a 6.3 magnitude earthquake on February 2011.
New Zealand is said to offer P2400 NZ dollars (P89,000) for carpenters while laborers and machine operators can receive P3520 NZ dollars (P131,000) as salary.
