A 56-year old American engineer was gunned down by a suspect riding a motorcycle at daybreak in a subdivision in General Trias City, Cavite.
According to police report, the victim was identified as Engr. David Clarence Poole who lives at the Metropolis Subdivision, Brgy. Manggahan.
At 6:00 am, he was heading to the nearby wet market with his wife, Christina Sandiego Poole, and another relative when the crime happened.
The gunman, yet to be named, only took out the engineer who was rushed to the Gentri Doctors Hospital but was later declared dead on arrival.
The police recovered ammunition of a .45 caliber pistol at the crime scene as the investigation starts.
