Three people in Macau, including a 45-year-old tourist, were recorded the first casualties of the typhoon Hato after it made a landfall in China and caused heavy flooding in Hong Kong City.
A 30-year-old died after he was hit by a falling wall caused by the strong winds of typhoon Hato while a 62-year-old man fell from his home located on the 11th floor of an apartment building.

As of 11 PM EDT, 34 people were sent to public hospitals and the Chinese government set up 26 temporary shelters for 279 people looking for refuge, Bloomberg has reported.
Train services were cancelled, fishing boats returned to harbor and more than 4,000 fish farmers came back to shore, according to Xinhua News Agency.
Typhoon Hato landed 37 miles (60 km) of Hongkong on Wednesday morning, causing heavy flooding and suspension of trade. It was the strongest typhoon in after five years after the weather observatory raised the storm warning to the maximum Typhoon 10.

The typhoon packs maximum sustained winds of 165km (103 miles) per hour with gusts about 192kph (119 mph), causing hurricane force winds.
As of 2:10 A.M. EDT, the Hong Kong Observatory downgraded the typhoon 8 as it weakens while moving forward to Mainland China’s Pearl River Delta, according to The Guardian.
