UAE locals and expatriates should expect high temperatures and humidity until Tuesday.
According to the National Center of Meteorology and Seismology, the temperature until Tuesday will range from 34 to 37 degrees Celsius, but coastal and internal areas may record scorching temperatures of 43 to 49 degrees Celsius.
NCMS said the level of humidity may reach up to 95 percent in coastal areas and 90 percent in the interior region.
In today’s weather, NCMS predicts a hot and hazy weather, but it also expects cloud formation that will provide shade by afternoon.
“Hot in general and hazy at times. Some clouds may form eastward by afternoon. Moderate winds in general, freshening at times, and may cause blowing dust/sand at times,” NCMS said on its Twitter account.
On Saturday, NCMS said a 50.5-degree temperature and 100 percent humidity were observed in Liwa and in Abu Dhabi, respectively, on Saturday.
