A jeepney driver and 22 of his passengers were injured when the vehicle slipped and turned over in Tanudan, Kalinga province on Thursday, June 1.
Tanudan authorities blamed the accident to the muddy road in Sitio Gimma, Babbanoy.
The driver, Marlon Morgia, and his passengers are now undergoing treatment in Kalinga Provincial Hospital for their injuries.
Police identified 12 of the passengers as minors. They are: Carlo Dawangon, 5; Frisha Wacdagan, 6; Dick Wacdagan and Zeena Calwing, both 9; Benjamin Mawiit, 10; Jun Ray Mandiguing, Fryam Dawangon, and Jerry Dumallig, all 11; Juris Dalimag, 12; Princess Sabaway and Marvelous Mandiguing, both 13; and Lloyd Tel-ag, 14.
The other injured passengers are: Elena Dao-wok, 76; Leonor Liagao, 59; Lolita Anggaco, 56; Alicia Dalimag, 54; Elena Sabaway, 55; Paula Magallis, 51; Juliet Dawangon, 50; Modesto Mandiguing, 49; Emiliana Mandiguing, 48; and Rose Ten-ag, 37.
