According to a new study called Fresh Graduates 2017 Report conducted by the JobStreet Philippines graduates from the University of the Philippines (UP) System were the best new hires in 2016.
JobStreet Philippines Country Manager Philip A. Gioca said in a press briefing in Taguig City that UP has re-emerged in the list to reclaim the title. The research was based on employers’ perception of who among the fresh graduate hires were the top performers.
“More than any time in recent history, the changes in attitude and preferences in employment have become rapid and constant,” Gioca explained, as quoted by Rappler.
“Job seekers should equip themselves with further knowledge should they want a distinct advantage in this highly competitive field,” he added.
Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), who was the previous holder of the accolade, and Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) follows UP in the latest ranking.
