Aligned with the goals of TFT Watchlist 2024—to honor the achievements of exceptional Filipino healthcare professionals in the Middle East—this reward from BPI, the first bank in the Southeast Asian region, also reflects its commitment to supporting the well-being and future of dedicated Filipino healthcare workers, especially those who are working overseas.

Sabilala, a Clinical Academic Supervisor at a specialized rehabilitation hospital affiliated with Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in Chicago, USA, expressed his gratitude to BPI and The Filipino Times Watchlist for their unwavering service to Filipinos, both locally and abroad.

“Thank you so much, BPI. I’ve been a BPI [account] holder since 2009 and I wish for BPI, after 173 years of service to Filipinos, to keep it strong, and at the same time, continue delivering the service to the whole Filipino,” Sabilala said.

“TFT, continue also delivering this particular service and award to the Filipinos—recognizing all of the achievements of the healthcare professionals in the region. It brings more collaborations and unity to the healthcare community here in our area,” he added.

Sabilala completed his Doctor in Nursing Management degree at Trinity University of Asia in the Philippines. His expertise is further demonstrated by his journal article publication in the University of the Philippines International Forum for Nursing and Healthcare. He also is a sought-after speaker at various clinical platforms, where he disseminates information on nursing and clinical practices.
