The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has announced that it will be launching a co-working space called WO-RK at Burjuman Station around April to June 2024. This facility, in collaboration with The Co-Spaces, a leading business incubator certified by the Dubai SME, will be running on a trial basis.

According to the RTA, the aim of this initiative is to provide an accessible and affordable co-working space. The facility being located within the Dubai Metro is intended to provide accessibility and encourage commuting in order to reduce traffic congestion and reduce carbon emissions from private vehicles. It also aims to create a sustainable urban environment while maintaining the idea of an advanced work space.

“By embracing the idea of hybrid workspaces, WO-RK works to meet the changing needs of individuals beyond fixed and traditional work environments,” said the RTA.
