The Department of Migrant Workers wants to extend the deadline for the payment of back wages for Saudi Oger claimants.

The registration for the back wages is currently being done online.

Dozens  of former employees and relatives of these former employees made their way to the DMW office to process their claims.

Some of the claimants had a hard time registering to the website due to documentation problems.

DMW Undersecretary Patricia Yvonne Caunan told GMA News that the claiming process was only limited to Saudi Oger employees and not yet related to the promise of the Saudi Arabia Crown Prince to pay the P532 million unpaid wages to thousands of ex-Saudi OFWs.

The DMW said that they have reminded the Saudi government on the promise of the Crown Prince.
