More than 20 people consume pricey ‘seafood paluto’ in Virgin Island, Panglao Mayor says

Panglao Mayor Boy Arcay shed light on their investigation on the alleged overpriced seafood in Virgin Island in Bohol Province that went viral on social media.

Arcay said that the group of tourists who complained about the P26,100 meal was composed of more than 20 persons.

Apart from the viral post, the mayor said some tourists say they are okay with the food prices in the island.

“Sabi ng ibang turista okay lang yung presyo kasi masaya naman sila,” the official said.
