Residents are already looking forward to the next holiday in UAE this 2022 after the country ended its festive four-day Eid Al Adha celebrations.
The official government portal of the UAE (u.ae) lists that the next holiday within July – the Hijri New Year (Islamic New Year) which is by July 30, Saturday.
However, since the UAE moved its working days in sync to the world’s Monday-Friday schedule, it’s unlikely for the majority of the residents to enjoy this holiday.

The next holiday after that will only take place by October 2022, which is Prophet Muhammad’s birthday. However, it also takes place on October 8, which is also a Saturday.
By the end of the year, UAE residents can look forward to a total of four days off for the Commemoration Day and the UAE’s National Day celebrations, starting from December 1 (Thursday) until December 3 (Saturday). The two day weekend running till Sunday will have the majority of UAE residents enjoying a four-day holiday by the near end of 2022.
