President Bongbong Marcos wants to have more meetings of at least twice a week to speed up the government’s plans.
“Hindi kami natapos, simply because there was so much to talk about,” he said in a press briefing.
“I am planning, perhaps, for the next two or three weeks to accelerate the number of Cabinet meetings, baka maybe two a week muna hangga’t maliwanag na maliwanag na, it’s important to me that the entire Cabinet understands what it is we’re trying to do, how we’re going to do it, what the timetable is and how it all fits together,” he added.

Former President Rodrigo Duterte had over 54 cabinet meetings since the start of his administration in 2016. He, later on, had weekly meetings televised to the public during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Marcos later on held a press conference to the media but did not name other secretaries of other agencies including Health, Energy and Human Settlements.
