A survey has revealed that Filipino healthcare workers seek out greener pastures abroad.
The survey conducted by TrueProfile.io showed that workers hunt for better opportunities.
As many as 71 percent of respondents cited “better career opportunities and prospects” as the primary reason for securing overseas employment.

The study further showed that 50 percent intended to earn a higher salary; 29 percent looked for more opportunities for medical specialization for looking out for the future outside the country.
The other 24 percent explored options for professional development; 20 percent hoped to support their family in the Philippines.
The other 17 percent looked to explore travel opportunities, 15 percent for personal growth, and 11 percent wanted a better quality of life.
