The UAE authorities have said that four new cases of monkeypox were detected in the country, taking the total number of cases to eight. All infected individuals will undergo isolation in hospitals until recovery and any close contact will need to quarantine at home for 21 days.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention said cases were detected during “early monitoring and investigation” and urged hospitals and clinics to be on alert.
