Moreno camp still hopeful amid drop in Pulse Asia survey

Despite a huge drop in the latest Pulse Asia survey, supporters and the political party of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno are hopeful that he can still win the May 9 polls.

Moreno dropped from 8% to 4% in the last survey of Pulse Asia. Senator Manny Pacquiao overtook Moreno in the survey ranking

Aksyon Demokratiko Chairman Ernest Ramel is confident that Moreno could still pull off a surprise win in the polls.

“The Pulse Asia survey results is a big departure from that of Tangere’s April 22 survey where Mayor Isko is at 20% and in 2nd place. We are confident still that our standard bearer will pull off a surprise on May 9,” Ramel said.

The survey was conducted among 2,400 respondents from April 16-21.

This period covered the Easter Sunday presscon among presidential bets with Moreno challenging Robredo to withdraw from the race.
