Presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos has indirectly took a swipe at Vice President Leni Robredo saying that President Rodrigo Duterte had a hard time with an uncooperative vice president.
During the final week of the campaign, Marcos went off-script and indirectly called out his rival.

“Nakita niyo naman po ‘yung nangyari kay Pangulong Duterte na siya at saka ‘yung kanyang bise ay hindi nagkakasundo, maraming hindi magawa, kaya’t napakahalaga na ang vice president at saka pangulo ay nagkakaintindihan, nagkakasundo para nagkakaisa,” Marcos said in a speech in Isabela.
Maintaining his lead in the last Pulse Asia survey, Marcos told his supporters to be vigilant to avoid the repeat of what happened in 2016.
“Alam naman natin ang nangyari noong last time, eh nakatulog lang tayo, kung anu-ano na nagbagoa magpapahanap kami ng tone-toneladang kape, ipapadala namin dito, mga 3-in-1 para walang tulugan,” he added.
