Emirates issues travel advisory with expected rise in outbound travel during Eid break

Outbound travel from the UAE is expected to rise during the Eid Al Fitr holiday break.

In line with this, Emirates has issued an advisory for passengers to expect increased waiting times at check-in due to ongoing COVID-19 measures.

There is a nine-day break for the public sector employees in the UAE due to which the Dubai-based airline is anticipating a high number of passengers traveling out from the country.

The Eid break will be between April 30 and May 8.

The check-in counters will generally open 24 hours before a flight from Dubai, but for those traveling to the US, check in counters will open 12 hours before the flight.

Those traveling from the northern Emirates can check in at Ajman Central Bus Terminal from 24 hours up to four hours before their flight.
