The Police have arrested seven people for running a gambling den in Dubai.
An Asian gang of 7 suspects, which ran a gambling racket inside a clothing store in the Al Fahidi area of Dubai, has been ordered to be jailed followed by deportation besides jointly fined AED 100,000, media reports said.

Earlier in October 2021 a policeman in Al Raffa came across people exchanging money and playing on computers and after entry to the store arrested the arrested.
The store manager confessed to having organised gambling in return for AED 3,000 and another suspect admitted to have received AED 2,000 for involving people in his home country in the racket, a Gulf Today report said.
