Presidential candidate and senator Manny Pacquiao renews his call to jail those who are guilty of corrupt activities.
Pacquaio made the statement on the 36th anniversary of the EDSA people power on February 25.

“Kung ako ang papalarin na maging pangulo magkakaroon tayo ng 2022 Revolution Against Corruption! Para tuldukan ang kurapsyon sa Pilipinas. Nangyari ito sa Hongkong at Singapore. Sa tulong ng Diyos ay mangyayari rin ito sa Pilipinas. Ipakulong natin ang corrupt at wala ‘yung pardon-pardon na yan,” Pacquiao said.
Pacquiao said that after 36 years, corruption and poverty still prevail.

The senator said that corrupt officials should be sentenced to life imprisonment.
The Presidential Commission on Good Government has already recovered more than P170 billion worth of Marcos ill-gotten wealth and is in the process of running after P125 billion more.
