COVID-19 prevention has topped the list of Google search queries in the Philippines in 2021.
Google released several local lists–trends, news, personalities, shows, and more—that topped Filipinos’ search queries in 2021.

In the searches, “COVID-19 prevention” topped this year’s list.
In addition, six out of 10 searches were entertainment-related (NBA games today, Squid Game, Miss Universe 2021, Pacquiao vs. Ugas, Pagsamo lyrics, True Beauty).
This was pointing towards how Filipinos use the internet to connect with each other during second year of the pandemic. (AW)
