Presidential aspirant Senator Bong Go has denied that the ruling party PDP-Laban rejected the offer of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte to unite.
Earlier, Duterte claimed that PDP-Laban rejected her offer to support her and Bongbong Marcos in the 2022 elections bid.

“I will let the PDP leadership clarify these matters in due time. Alam ko naman po na wala kaming tinatanggihan,” he said in a statement.
Go also wished the presidential daughter the best of luck on her vice presidential bid.
“As I have said earlier, kung ako lang ang tatanungin, siya ang aking sinusuportahan sa pagka-Bise Presidente,” he said.

Go also defended his decision to file his candidacy under a different party allied with PDP-Laban.
“We have joined the PDDS and have followed the internal rules and processes of both PDDS and PDP Laban. We are committed to the PDDS-PDP Laban alliance and will support the common candidates of both parties,” he said. (TDT)
