The Dubai Police have issued an alert urging the residents against visiting mountainous areas and Valleys after several areas were flooded following heavy rains.
Heavy rains and hail hit parts of the UAE on Monday forcing Police to issue warnings of “unstable weather conditions”.

The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued an alert about “heavy rains and strong winds” in the country’s Eastern region stating loose “objects and weak structures”, including trees, could pose risk.
Moderate to heavy rains were reported in Fujairah, Khor Fakkan, Kalba and Hatta.
A video of a flooded valley was tweeted by Social media handle Storm_Centre.

Multiple videos that showed heavy rains flooding mountain areas were also tweeted by the NCM.
Brig Ali Obaid Al Tunaiji, director-general of Civil Defence in Fujairah, has urged the public to follow the proper advice and heed warning messages, especially during bad weather. (AW)
