The private hospitals in Abu Dhabi have been declared to be free from COVID-19 as no fresh case of infection was detected across the Emirate.
The Emirate’s Department of Health (DoH) has now designated Al Rahba Hospital as a dedicated facility for treating COVID-19.

Hospital admissions will be limited to Rahba Hospital in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain Hospital in Al Ain City and other field hospitals across the Emirate.
With the increase in bed capacity at Al Rahba Hospital it has now more than 250 beds including 140 dedicated for acute care and 37 Intensive Care Units (ICUs).

According to the DoH Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) is also now free of COVID-19.
Dr Jamal Mohammed Alkaabi, undersecretary of the DoH, said that the public efforts were instrumental in SKMC effectively dealing with the pandemic. (AW)
